
INGREDIENTS:
Serves 2
1 garlic clove- minced
1 tsp minced ginger
1 packet Frozen MEET Tenders- thawed
For the sauce:
½ tbsp soy sauce
½ tbsp cooking sake
½ tbsp mirin
2 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp sesame oil
To serve:
Thinly sliced radish
Toasted black & white sesame seeds
Sliced spring onions
2 servings warm rice
METHOD:
Cook your rice in a rice cooker or in a saucepan according to packet instructions.
Combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl, and set aside
Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and ginger, and fry for a minute
Add the tenders, and cook for 3 minutes, turning regularly, until golden crisp.
Pour the sauce onto the pan, and stir until the tenders are evenly coated and the sauce has thickened.
To serve, spoon the cooked rice onto serving plates. Add the sliced radish to the side, then top with the sticky sesame tenders. Drizzle with any excess sauce from the pan, then top with the toasted sesame seeds and sliced spring onions. Serve warm
