GARLIC BUTTER BEEF FREE STRIPS




INGREDIENTS:

- 250g MEET Beef Free Strips (Available in the Chilled section of Coles) - 200g Creme Gold Washed Potatoes, quartered - 1tbs Olive Oil - 2 tbs Nutlex - 3 garlic cloves, minced - 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped - 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped - 1 tsp fresh oregano, chopped - salt & pepper for seasoning - Pinch of chilli flakes (optional)

MARINADE FOR BEEF FREE STRIPS: - 1/4 cup soy sauce - 1 tbs Olive oil - 1 tbs hot sauce (we used sriracha)


METHOD:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the MEET Beef Free Strips with soy sauce, olive oil, and hot sauce. Set aside and allow strips to marinate while you cook potatoes.

  2. In a Pan over a medium-high heat, add 1 tbs olive oil and 1 tbs nutlex. When nutlex is melted, add potatoes wedges. Cook for about 4 minutes, stir and cook an additional 4-5 minutes until potatoes wedges are golden and tender. Transfer potatoes to a plate and set aside.

  3. In the same pan add remaining tbs of nutlex, garlic, and fresh herbs. Add the MEET Beef Free Strips and cook for 2-3 minutes or until fragrant and golden.

  4. Remove from heat. Add the potatoes wedges back to the pan with the MEET Beef Free Strips and heat through. Add salt and pepper for seasoning.

  5. Serve and add chilli flakes if you like.
