
INGREDIENTS:
250g MEET Chicken Free Strips (available in the chilled meat section at Woolworths)
1/2 cup (olive oil to shallow fry)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup soy milk
1 cup flour
Brioche buns (vegan)
Lettuce
Tomato
Red Onion
Vegan garlic aioli
METHOD:
Add 1 tbsp of lemon juice to a bowl and add the soy milk. Allow to sit for a minute. It will thicken and curdle - once curdled you can give it a little whisk.
Once you have made your vegan buttermilk, add olive oil in a large fry pan over a high heat.
Dip each MEET Chicken Free Strip in the vegan buttermilk mixture, then in flour, continue until all pieces have been crumbed.
Add the MEET Chicken Free Strips to the hot oil (be careful as the oil may spit), cook for 3-5 minutes until golden.
Build your brioche chicken free burger by adding the lettuce, tomato, red onion, Buttermilk Chicken Free Strips and add vegan garlic aioli to finish.
