  • 250g MEET Beef free strips (available in the chilled section of Woolworths)

  • 200g noodles

  • vegetable oil

  • 1 brown onion, thinly sliced

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed

  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets

  • 1/4 cup (60ml) black bean sauce

  • 1 bunch choy sum, trimmed

  • Sliced red chilli, to serve (optional)

  • Coriander leaves, to serve

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the MEET Beef free strips and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove from the pan.

  2. At the same time, cook the noodles in a saucepan of boiling water following packet directions. Drain, reserving 1/3 cup of cooking liquid.

  3. In the same pan you cooked the strips, heat more oil and add onion, garlic, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 4 minutes or until broccoli is tender.

  4. Return the strips to the pan with noodles, black bean sauce, and reserved cooking liquid. Toss until combined and heated through.

  5. Add choy sum to the pan and stir-fry until wilted.

  6. Divide between bowls and serve with chilli (optional) and coriander.
